Hurtigruten

You can connect your Holiday Sommersel Resort vacation to a passage with a Hurtig Ruten Ship. In Tromsø you can go on board the Post Ship. This will take you along the shore of the Vesterålen and Lofoten to Svolvaer. This is one of the most beautiful parts of the whole Post Passage. The best time for this is the timeframe from May to the end of July because of the midnight sun.

The following could be a possible schedule:
Tromsø 01:30 a.m.
Finnsnes 04:45 a.m.
Hartsad
08:00 a.m.
Risöyhamn 11:00 a.m.
Sortland   1:00 p.m.
Stokmarknes   3:30 p.m.


Sometimes the ship has a short stay here so that you can visit the Hurtigruten museum. Before you reach your destination port Svolvær you come to the highlight of this trip. The ship crosses the Raftsundet fjord and navigates into the Trollfjord where you nearly can touch the mountains. You reach Svolvær at 6:30 p.m.. Here youwill be picked up from the Sommesel Team.
